Sean Bisceglia

Sean Bisceglia

Chief Executive Officer

  • Sean has specialized in accelerating growth and establishing leadership positions for companies in the HCM industry, with a focus on launching disruptive technologies. He has founded and led four companies that achieved rapid market acceptance and global distribution of its products and services. Bisceglia’s business success began 25 years ago when he founded TFA, a technology-focused ad agency that achieved significant success. TFA was sold to Leo Burnett in 1998. After TFA, Mr. Bisceglia partnered with William Blair Ventures to acquire Corporate Project Resources, Inc (“CPRi”) where he doubled revenues in less than 2 years. In 2007, Mr. Bisceglia founded TalentDrive where he formed one of the first technology-enabled staffing businesses in the industry. In 2013, Mr. Bisceglia founded and became CEO of Scout Exchange, a platform for marketplace recruiting that serves Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, Bisceglia served as an Operating Partner at Sterling Partners.

  • Michael is a Senior financial and operations executive with vast experience in B-to-B services, recruiting / staffing, technology, software and CPG. He has worked in both owner-operated businesses and private equity / venture capital backed companies. Michael’s strengths include both the ability to think and plan at the strategic level and to manage the day-to-day tactical challenges of rapidly changing organizations.

  • Keren takes complex research initiatives at all stages of the project life cycle and utilizes a research-based psychology background to apply an insightful understanding of consumer behavior behind perception. Prior to joining Curion Keren worked for L’Oreal USA as a Sensory Research Scientist. Her 12 years of sensory & consumer insights experience includes food, beverage, and personal care. She is also a trained QDA panel moderator. Keren received her B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College in Psychology and holds a Certificate of Sensory & Consumer Science from UC Davis.

Virginia Luchini Dosz

Chief of Staff

  • As Chief of Staff, Virginia serves as a liaison between staff and senior leadership regarding company climate, project updates, and the planning, implementation and execution of those projects. She also works directly with the CEO and other executives on initiatives aimed at increasing company efficiency and growth. Previously, Virginia worked in other roles within Curion as Research Director and Project Manager. She holds an MS degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where her research focus combined both nutrition and sensory science.

Alyssa Hayes

  • Alyssa is passionate about using data to deliver meaningful insights and strategic recommendations, as well as identify operational efficiencies. Alyssa comes to Curion with over 15 years of experience across both the client and supplier side for market research and insights. Her background spans numerous qualitative and quantitative research methods across both B2C and B2B audiences. Alyssa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.

  • Andrew is a highly experienced leader of consumer, sensory, market and product research, with global responsibility in the FMCG / CPG industry, focused on product innovation. Over his 20+ years in the industry he has directed sensory, consumer and market research as well as fragrance, claims and concept development and testing for large CPG brands. In his tenure he has worked for companies such as Edgewell, International Flavors & Fragrances, Avon, and Kellogg’s. Andrew has recently joined Curion as SVP of Product & Client Services.

Patricia Manos

VP, Partnerships & Marketing

  • Patricia is a keen strategist developing business plans, processes and positioning that provides competitive advantage, solves complex problems and improves the customer and partner experience. She was previously at Scout Exchange where she built strategic partnerships with companies like IBM, Oracle and SAP to open channels of marketing, support sales and propel mutual growth. She is a dynamic change agent stewarding efficiency, positive corporate culture and business transformation. With a firm handle on monitoring marketing intelligence to capitalize on developments, disruptions and opportunities, she joins Curion to lead marketing and partnerships. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Iowa, and getting her Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University

  • Jeff is a passionate technologist with over 20 years of professional experience as a technology executive. He has progressive and diverse experience in information technology and senior leadership in consulting, startup and Fortune 100 companies. He is a results-driven leader that understands the importance of effective communication across all business verticals. Jeff’s previous roles include Director of Data Strategy/Warehousing and CTO at TalentDrive. Jeff joined Curion to help improve the overall technology roadmap and data architecture strategy.

  • Pam is passionate about people!  Accountable for all things people, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations and leading the Curion Culture Task Force. She brings over 15 years in talent acquisition, talent management and leadership, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University. Outside of work, Pam enjoys traveling and visiting our National Parks.

  • Tony has over twenty years’ experience as a mathematical statistician focusing on the analysis of sensory data. He enjoys the challenge of elucidating actionable insights from diverse sets of data though the creative application of traditional analyses, visualizations, and novel methods. He has a M.S. Degree in Probability from Michigan State University and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from San Francisco State.

Sheri Forzley

  • Sheri values a holistic approach to research incorporating various qualitative and quantitative methods to develop an insightful story with the data. It is her belief that this in-depth understanding of what drives consumer delight should be at the heart of all product design and product development efforts.

    Sheri comes to Curion with over 25 years of research experience. She has spent 15 years in global and regional leadership positions spanning categories from personal care to confections. Sheri received her PhD in Physiological Psychology from Texas Tech University, followed by a 3 year post-doctoral position at Monell Chemical Senses Center.

  • With more than 25 years of experience in marketing research, Lisa is an expert in packaging, shopper and print advertising research. She truly knows the research industry from the ground up. She spent most of her career at PRS INVIVO starting as a researcher and working her way up to account management/client services, this experience gives her keen insight into understanding and providing actionable results to clients’ business issues and research questions.

    Most recently she was part of the team for most innovative insights consultancies in North America – Hotspex using proprietary human analytical tools and by applying the understanding of human behavior to provide strategic direction for her clients.  She partnered with client insight teams to tackle their brand-building challenges – whether that be decisions about brand identity, communications, visual identity or innovations.

    Lisa is a partner and consultant to her clients through all phases of the research process. Her forte lies in combining relevant information sources together to develop insights that assist marketers with brand plans and execution. She has learned the value of understanding her clients’ business issues and applying them to research.

    Lisa’s focus crosses many categories, with specific expertise in food products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, pet care, personal care and healthcare/OTC across both qualitative and quantitative disciplines.

    She has worked with most of the major CPG companies including Nestle. P&G, Kellogg’s, Bayer, Estee Lauder and Constellations Brands.

  • Katie has over 15 years of sensory and consumer science experience with leading food & beverage companies. She is highly skilled in strategic research planning focused on understanding project objectives to drive business decisions. Katie has expertise in a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative sensory and consumer research methods, which she leverages to provide actionable insights at all phases of the product development lifecycle. She is also a trained QDA panel moderator. Katie received her MBA from Roosevelt University and her BS from Eastern Illinois University. She also holds a certificate in Sensory & Consumer Science from UC Davis.

  • Susan has been helping Fortune 500 companies to make product and marketing decisions inspired by consumer insights for more than 20 years. She has delivered impactful research-based recommendations in a wide range of CPG categories including food, beverage, personal care/beauty and homecare.

    Susan’s experience spans several phases of qualitative and quantitative research in the product development process including identifying new opportunities, evaluation of the competitive landscape, concept development, product optimization and go-to-market strategy.

    An early adopter of innovative methodologies, Susan was among the first to implement mobile apps for consumer generated in-the-moment experience capture, and integration of social listening to enhance context.

    Susan has held senior client service positions with Kantar/TNS, Morpace and MMR Research Associates.

    She holds a BA from Guilford College and an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin.

  • Terri is responsible for overseeing a wide range of consumer product research studies focusing on study design, proposal development and client relationship management. She has over 29 years of CPG, supplier side market research experience with a concentration in cosmetics and health & beauty aids. Her background and ability to oversee complex research projects serves her client’s needs from project inception to final deliverables. Terri is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and is a member of Cosmetics Executive Women.

  • Amy has over 20 years of experience in Sensory & Consumer Research with an emphasis on food products, nutritional supplements and oral care. From her experience at International Flavors & Fragrances, Campbell Soup Company and Church & Dwight, she understands the product development process from concept creation through post-launch. Amy specializes in combining a scientific sensory approach with project objectives to provide actionable insights to clients’ questions for every stage of the product life cycle. Amy holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Rutgers University. In her free time, Amy enjoys knitting and has made many handmade gifts for family and friends over the years.

  • Rachel is an experienced end-to-end qualitative and quantitative consumer researcher with experience executing all phases of sensory-centric consumer testing for CPG companies of all sizes. Rachel is a RIVA trained moderator and is highly skilled in building and maintaining dedicated, qualitative consumer groups for her clients. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois with a heavy emphasis in her studies on sensory science and a Bachelor of Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Chemistry.

  • Rebecca’s tenured career experience in CPG companies provide her with a holistic understanding of the product development process. She has a proven track record of utilizing this background to construct sensory and consumer science programs to guide an array of product development initiatives. Rebecca relies on proven methods and innovative thinking to design tests that yield successful results. Rebecca holds an MS from the Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in Food Sciences with a heavy emphasis in her studies on sensory science.

  • Anthony puts his relationships with clients above all else, valuing a collaborative approach for all projects. He comes to Curion with 11 years of experience in the market research industry, spanning both the supplier and client side of the aisle. Anthony has primarily focused in the food and beverage sector but also has experience in home and personal care. Through a workbook of various methodologies, he has helped a number of Fortune 500 companies build and maintain successful portfolios. From his experience working onsite for various clients Anthony has gained an appreciation for the nuances involved in working with cross-functional teams to answer project objectives for all business units involved. Anthony holds a BS from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Shilpa Samat

  • Following her passion for in-depth understanding of human perception and behavior, Shilpa is experienced in creatively incorporating novel neuro-behavioral and emotional measures to traditional consumer research methodologies. She approaches research with a holistic lens leveraging various qualitative and quantitative techniques to turn data into stories. Shilpa comes to Curion with her experience in sensory science and product development at CPG companies like Kellogg’s and Mondelēz. She is also a trained QDA moderator. A statistics enthusiast, Shilpa holds a Ph.D. in Food Science with a focus on sensory and consumer research from the University of Arkansas.

  • Julie has broad experience in designing and implementing Consumer and Sensory Research across all stages of the product development cycle. She has excellent proficiency at designing targeted research methods to meet project objectives and impact product direction. Her 25+ years of experience in CPG include food, skincare, and agriculture having held positions at Mary Kay, Land O’Lakes, and Hormel Foods as well as working as an independent consultant for General Mills, Schwan’s, and several smaller food and ag companies. Julie holds an MS in Food Science from the University of Minnesota.

  • Ellen has over 14 years in sales and account management experience, collaborating with companies across the CPG, food service, retail, and travel & hospitality industries. During her tenure with Mintel, Nielsen, and Claritas, Ellen worked with several Fortune 100 companies in both Latin America and the United States. Ellen’s work with clients has focused on consumer insights, product innovation, market research, and marketing effectiveness. She is passionate about being a trusted advisor to her clients and forming long term and successful partnerships. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University, where she studied Spanish and Marketing.

She’s spent time with News America Marketing and Mintel – growing new and existing relationships within the CPG and Beauty & Personal Care world. Kate’s career within market research, consumer package goods, and marketing allow her to provide a strong foundation to help clients grow their business. Kate is distinguished by her passion for collaborative partnerships, immersing herself in the brand and culture, and her commitment to meeting customer needs. Her contagious enthusiasm instills her to create partnerships with great energy and dedication within the work environment or outside of the work environment. Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a professional sequence in Sales from Illinois State University.

  • Madeline is a seasoned salesperson who has closed more than $14 million in deals throughout her decade-long career. Having primarily worked for start-ups during their Series-A and Growth stages, Madeline excels at hunting and landing new customers and creating valuable partnerships. She brings a breadth of industry experience across different verticals, having sold SaaS and services within Advertising & Marketing, Human Resources, Social Media, and Sales Enablement. Beyond broad industry expertise, Madeline brings a global perspective to her work, having most recently worked in Norway for a global technology provider. Madeline’s most notable sales successes were from her time at now-purchased Chute where she closed deals with Brown-Foreman’s suite of brands, Delta, Marriott, and Bose Corporation, the largest deal in company history. Madeline holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies from The Ohio State University.

  • During his 20 years in the market research industry, Jeff has held leadership positions in Insights, Sales, and Account Management at global agency, brand, and SaaS companies including Mars Wrigley and Voxpopme. Jeff has expertise in helping Fortune 500 business teams in CPG, Tech, and Media/Entertainment leverage mixed research methods and technology to better understand and predict consumer behavior. The last several years, Jeff has focused specifically on utilizing technology for in-context research solutions designed to provide better feedback faster and more cost effectively. Jeff has a background in Psychology, receiving a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara. He also holds certifications from University of Georgia (Principles of Marketing Research) and UC Davis (Sensory & Consumer Science).

  • Katerina first joined Curion on the client services team, bringing her experience in customer-facing roles to support the delivery of all sales initiatives. Currently, she is an integral part of the Marketing Team, focusing on the execution of all planned and new activities.  With a history in the arts, she has refined and produced creatives for Curion’s branded and employee engagement campaigns.
